Martin Švejnoha, assistant coach, Tirol: All matches with foreign opponents are valuable, it's a different style of football. We knew that Trencin wanted to play football, but that we could punish them after losing the ball. The team was able to respond to the adverse development, although there was probably more risk than the coaches like.
AS Trenčín: Kukučka - Mičuda, Bagin, Stojsavljevič, Šebeň, Oladoye, Dos Santos, Hollý, Kmeť, Emeka, Okunola. Subst.: Vozinha, Sláviček, Yem, Pires, Ďuriška, Kozlovský, Gajdoš, Soares, Bainovič, Murko, Praženka, Ibrahim. Coach: Marián Zimen.
Marián Zimen, coach, Trenčín: The match showed me the other side of how we want a player, there were fewer positive sides. We missed the first touch and a good pass today, that's the basis. But we are at a certain stage of preparation and that maybe showed in the match. Mainly, we wanted to distribute the load among the players, which we did. We wanted to try out what each player brings, whether a member of the starting line-up or a player of a wider squad.
